so recently i changed my shit with rogers. called to cancel. got a good plan and went and grabbed myself a sweet iphone. i love looking at the two wireless bills side by side….just because of all the shit. one is sooo little. and the other has so many edits to it, that it just makes me laugh.
basically i called rogers, tried to be nice and asked what they could offer me. pretty sure that “norma” was actually located in india, and no help at all…i hung up on her. called back, went to retentions…asked how i would go about cancelling (i know how..im not actually that stupid….but gotta pretend sometimes, right?), then he told me how…i said “thanks, bye” then he asked why i was cancelling…all that jazz. i said i wanted more data. he commented that i wasnt using the 500mb i had now…i said my phone was too slow and that i would just use a computer to check any websites…he said he understood. i got what you see in the pic on the bottom. first month free. and a bunch of random discounts. so it turns out to be like 70$ a month. im sure i could have pushed for more shit. but i got what i wanted, for less than i was willing to pay. so i quit while i was ahead. went to the rogers the next day, a cute boy got me my phone…and i left the store happily. and dropped it when i was actually a foot away from the rogers. then bought a case. which has saved it from the many many times i’ve dropped this little guy. hehe.
